What is Sonic Reverse Curse?

How to Play

Gameplay Mechanics

Rings Count Backwards: Your ring counter will decrease instead of increase when you collect rings. If it goes below zero, you will lose a life.
Start with 5 Rings: You begin with a limited number of rings, so use them wisely.

Special Monitors

Shield Monitor: Protects Sonic from hits and allows ring collection without affecting the counter.
Invincibility Monitor: Grants temporary invincibility and normal ring collection.
Reset Monitor: Resets ring count and shield status to the beginning of the level.
Chaos Emerald Monitor: Earn Chaos Emeralds by reaching the end of an Act without dying.
Ring Monitor: Scatters rings unless Sonic is invincible.

Boss Acts

Every Zone now features a fourth act with a battle against Dr. Eggman, rings, and a hidden 1-Up.

Final Zone Boss

The modified boss drops rings, providing a chance to rebuild Sonic's ring count.

Music and Sound

Different songs for each act, including the iconic Speed Shoes music.

Optional Features

SpinDash: Enable SpinDash on the title screen for an authentic experience.
Sprites: Sonic's sprites are taken from Sonic 3 for a classic look.

Additional Gimmicks
