The original Sonic the Hedgehog is a game known for its fast-paced action and remains so with the mod. The mod takes the beloved blue hedgehog through a somehow dark yet thrilling adventure. In tandem with the appeal, you are thrown through a twisted, yet colorful world, where you go against a series of relentless bosses in disturbing yet somewhat exhilarating duels. There are almost 6 new levels coupled with utterly new bosses, and the game tests patience, fury, and will. It is an adrenaline-laden challenge best suited for his reckless and dedicated players.

How to Play

The core mechanics of Brutal Sonic uphold the classic Sonic the Hedgehog structure but with a dark touch. With the classic controls, you will be pressing MOVE to hear the quick footsteps through the level, JUMP to leap over obstacles, and hit enemies with the spin attack. The goal is to defeat boss waves by exploiting their weaknesses and leveraging your speed and agility. This mod found a cult following for extreme gameplay and dark twists on the classic sound.
