What is Sonic & Johnny?

A great adaptation created by Lone Devil, Sonic & Johnny terms itself an exciting and dynamic modification of Sonic the Hedgehog. This interpretation merges the cherished racing and platformer aspects of Sonic with new challenges and characters to race and fight through two main acts, ending with Johnny and bosses new to the scene. With Johnny from Sonic Rush Adventure and some familiar zones, this game is something fresh for both the old timers and the newbies.

How to Play

In Sonic & Johnny, your main goal is to race against your rival, Johnny, in the first two acts. You navigate through the different zones, collecting whatever helps you in winning: items and power-ups. Along this path are new bosses, challenging your prowess and agility. Fast and furious are the test words here! This calls for fast reflexes and thinking on your feet.

Tips & Tricks

Sonic: Get your Spindash down to have instant acceleration, and the most recommended usage is to apply the Shield Ability, the Dropdash, to counter enemies and obstacles.
Johnny: Use your speed to maintain an advantage in the races. Your invulnerability is by holding on to your maximum speed, so don't stop! Remember that your Shield Ability is a HoverJump that allows you to maintain your momentum while in the air.
General Tips: Grab as many rings as you can to stay alive; power-ups should be used with strategy in gaining the upper hand over your opponent.

History

The story of Sonic & Johnny is based on Robotnik's scheme to get back all Chaos Emeralds and summon one from another dimension named Johnny, a guy who is arrogantly gifted and is offered by Robotnik fame and recognition in a race at the Atomic Stadium (concrete island constructed for the strongest racers). Sonic, discovering the emeralds vanished, receives a threat from the evil Doctor to enter the 1v1 Grand Prix or get one of his friends kidnapped. With Tails in tow, he sets off to join the race, beat Robotnik's successor, and find out the truth.
